cromis or red algea

Hey guys I have a patch of red algea or cromis growing on a peice of my rock. How should I go about getting rid of it?

I've never heard of cromis before except in reference to the fish. Got a picture? Usually, problem algae is the result of excess nutrients building up in the system. Increasing flow, skimming wetter, more frequent water changes, agressive removal of detritus, and feeding less are all strategies to reduce waste in a system.
