Crocea Clam...Can I Keep One?

Would I be able to keep this clam with a 150 watt HQI? I want to keep this type of clam when my tank matures, its barely at 3 months right now. The tank is 16 inches deep and i would be keeping it at the top since I have a flat rock on there. My calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium are pretty good since most of the back is starting to get covered in corraline algae. I would appreciate everyones suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Fly Guy is right thats a shallow tank. You should be fine. If you put him on the bottom and you notice it gaping or anything out of the ordinary you can always move it higher anyways

I know that I am the exception to the rule, but I have a 55 gallon reef and I have one that I keep under 265w power compact lights. I have had him for almost 2 years, and he has tons of color........doing great......just remember, that is a rock boring clam, so he would be alot happier on a rock, not substrate.
