CPR In-Tank Fuge

http://www.cpraquatic.com/products/citr.html

Anyone try these? I'm considering one for my Aquapod in the event that I can't find a way to work one into the back without leaving the lid closed. I'm looking for some added nutrient export and a greater pod population so I can maybe some day keep a mandarin in there.

My mother uses one of these in her 75G. She has Mangroves growing WAY out the top of the tank. It does a great job for her and she has been using it for several years.

Sounds good to me - it doesn't seem so big and I'm sure I could figure out a way to hide it behind the rocks or somethin like that.

This is just my opinion here, but I don't think that it is worth it. Your pod growth in that thing will be nominal at best. Also the small amount of nutrient export that it will provide does not out weigh how much of an eye sore it would be.
I have see people put macro algae in the back of the aquapod type tanks. That would increase your pod count and help you with nutrient export, and it would not be as unsightly.

I guess it'll be easier to figure out once I get the actual tank. My main concern with putting the macro in the back is that i don't want a light to interfere with the closed lid.

If you do some google searches, you can find some pretty cool mods for the Pod tanks. I am pretty sure that this is a common mod for these systems.
