Cowrie' eating my BTA


I don't know why but my cowrie snail seems to be eating my BTA. ??? Anyone ever heard of this? My wife found an article that said they are not reef safe.

That's right - most cowries are NOT reef safe. I think the tiny money cowries *might* be reef safe (although I've never put one in with corals), but the tiger cowries definitely are NOT reef safe.

Same thing happened to me.

Give the cowrie a new home at the local LFS.

Ya, nothing wrong with a credit at the LFS with as much as we spend there. Maybe they can put it in their new 600 gallon tank they are setting up.
