Couple Pictures and a couple ID's!

Hey! first time on the forums. Heres a few pics of a couple things in my tank. I need an Id on a couple of them. I've had the tank up for about 5 months.

Ok this one I'm not sure of. I though It was a zoanthid since It came with the last ones I bought. Then at night I realized that It was moving to the top of the rock making its way through the zoa's. Maybe an anemone?

This I believe is an Aiptasia? Not to worry, its in my quarantine tank

Some type of Ricordia. Anyone wanna tell me what kind it is?

My first zoos that I bought. They are quite green with the actinics. Also a couple reds sticking up out of the top.

Thanks! Let me know if you know anything.

Welcome to TRT!!

I can't quite tell what's in pic 1; but based on the description of it's movement, it is most likely an anemone. My guess would be a Majano sp since you describe it as zoa looking.

Yep, pic 2 is an Aiptasia.

On pic 3; the best I can do is say that it is a ric, but determining species is practically impossible just from a picture.

Pic 4, pretty much the same as with pic 3, species is pretty difficult to determine; but they are definately zoanthids.

The first one is wierd though. The "tenticles" stick out to the side and looks just like a zooanthid would. None of them up, only out. They are also very short. When I first saw him at night I thought I could see a teeny tiny mouth in the middle. I've been searching forever to find out what he is. Maybe i have to wait until he grows to find out what he turns into.

Also when I took him out of my tank to put in my other tank he tucked himself inside himself like an anemone does somtimes.

In the tank that has the zoos and ricordia I did one last week. The other one I haven't done one in a while. Its pretty much a holding tank. A LFS near me is going out of business and I was getting live rock for like $1 a pound so I bought a good bit. I just set up the tank, it has an overflow with a sump underneath and a protein skimmer. Plus Im moving soon so I was kind of waiting to do my water change then, well it will be a 100% water change.

It does! He was $10 and was about the size of a half dollar when I got him. He expanded like 3x the size he was when I bought him.
