Hammers, frogspawn and torches are all pretty much the same coral and I have seen from experience that they can be in direct contact and they have absolutely no problem. Actually in my buddies tank he has a huge clump of frogspawn and hammers all mixed together and it looks great

I was gonna said that too. All of them are from the same family(Euphyllia) and will not bother each other.

BTW your tank looks great and I really like that you add a lot of small pieces of live rock instead of 10 big chunks of rock.

Thanks everyone, I have not noticed any negative affects of the two being close together either.

CoralFreak......I was in Puerto Rico last month for the first time, and I must say it was one of the most beautiful places I've been. I usually travel to cental america or the bahamas but Puerto Rico was the most beautiful to me. I dove at Tres Palmas in Rincon, and that was the nicest reef I've seen. Not to mention the surf is GREAT there. O/T I know but I now know why the call it Isla del encantado!!!

Thanks everyone, I really enjoy the atmosphere of this forum....great group of reefers here!!
