I saw a new coralife hang on about a month ago that the LFS has set up from corolife as a demo, It worked very well for the price but I am not sure of the name of it. It is a new one they have out or is coming out , sorry I did not paid attention to the name. But if it the same one it looked to work well.I think He said it came in 2 sizes the one he had cost 200.00 approx. It was pretty good size.

did you ever decide what skimmer to get? keep us informed what you decide and what your experience is. i will probably be getting one of the coralife skimmers this fall to upgrade my frag tanks. price is right and i hear nothing but good things about them.

thanks

There was a thread I read on Reefcentral concerning the Coralife skimmer and it looks like it does a great job. I had a good look at one at a local LFS that is considering carrying it instead of the Berlin. We all agreed: it looks horrible to clean. Other than that looks like it would out perform the Berlin.

If I had to choose between the turbo floater or the coralife . I have to go with the coralife. Did one heck of a job on the tank I saw. and they had the original skimmer still on the tank .it was working very well. and the price did seem to be very good. I think if You have the time You can DIY and make a Geoff skimmer even better at half the cost.

New Simpler Geoff Skimmer. I am trying to fine the mantled monster but for some reason I don't bring it up. I will keep looking for More.
