Coral vs. Coral

My son always asks me "Mom, if a cheetah and a lion got in a fight, who would win?" "If a corvette and a racecar were racing, who would win?"

So in that spirit, I'd like for you to post for us any two corals that had a fight and who won. This info. might come in handy in knowing who can be neighbors and who cant.

I'll start from my experiences:

Hydnophora vs. Candy Cane Coral......Hydno was victorious!!
Scolymia vs. Ricordea.....equals dead Ricordea!

So lets see those winners!!!!
and losers

Hi All!

I have some Woods Polyps that have done a real number on my button polyps. Removed some of the Woods and 3 weeks later the buttons appear to be recovering. Whew...

Candy cane fell on my moon coral and candy cane won! Moon coral had a bad spot but recovered nicely.

Moon coral fell on Encrusting gorgonian. Moon coral won as the encrusting gorgonian still has the bad spot after a few months.
