coral types from 4x54w t5 w/ 2 reflectors
I am looking to find out what corals can be under 2x54w t5s per fixture. total 4x54w t5s with 2 parabolic reflectors bent around the 4 bulbs. The lights are in a fixture, which is a Novaextreme fixture. I am looking forward to run 2 of the fixtures...I currently run 1 of these over my tank currently.

Yeah you should be fine with some SPS.
Probably higher up, though.

LPS, zoas, mushrooms low, acans, chalice, leathers, middle and some SPS will work like montiporas, try small frags of acros upper third of the tank to see if you have enough light. How much flow and what filtration do you have in the tank as that may be a factor in coral selection too.

I have the 4 bulb nova extreme fixture over my 55 and i fry monti caps. I have the keep them out of direct light. I really think this puts out a lot more par than people give it credit for.
i have a number of sps in my tank that are growing well in the low to med depths.
i have probably tripple the flow u do which is a factor, as well as a sump w/ skimmer. i know softies would do ok in that setup, should be some lps that would too. i'd get a skimmer on it before i went w/ sps though.

I agree with changing out the bulbs, the ATI and geisemann bulbs will be much better from what ive heard from everyone. I think with those 2 fixture and 2 reflectors you could keep LPS, softies and then at the top of the tank you could have monti caps, other montis and maybe some acros and a birdsnest, but id keep the SPS way at the top.

No but I did put two fixture side by side on one tank. The fixture with the white bulb replaced was substantially brighter; we did not change out the blue only the white.
