Coral life?
Has everyone that has purchased coralife skimmers or lighting been happy with this brand? They offar really good deals on they're lighting and skimmers... What's your exsperience with these products? Or would you suggest a different brand for these two "main essentials" for reef tanks. My tank is under 100g.

I have one of each. Both are very quiet, very solid units. Good stuff.

I have one of their PC fixtures, I am quite happy with them.
I think they probably have the most verstale HOB skimmer out right now too.

I have a 24" Aqualight Pro run off a Dual Powerstation. Both work great. The Aqualight Pro's pricy, but I got mine used.

I've had a PC fixture, a MH fixture and a skimmer. All have been great products.

I have their 65 gal needlewheel super skimmer - undeniably the best value in skimmer for less than $100.

coralife is a solid brand. i've used much of their line, including lighting, skimmers and salt. good results with all, but their MH bulbs were a little hit-and-miss on color. bought 3 bulbs and none had the same color even though labeled the same. no bid deal, as they were for my frag tank, not the display...
i haven't heard much good about the oddysea, if that brand is what i think it is...

I have two of their skimmers. Quite happy with them except for the fact that they come with RIO pumps. That makes me a bit nervous. In fact the one I just got has trouble starting back up after its been unplugged.

You can buy a small kit for a Maxi-jet (just a plastic fitting that pushes in to the intake) and use it to replace a Rio on almost any skimmer. In my experience the Rio's only re-start about half the time they are turned off, the mj always re-starts. I had Rio's on a bak-pak for 4 yrs., and on my current skimmer for a year. I switched to mj's about a yr ago when I found out about the modification and they have been great!
