the 3rd i bought from lfs sold to as a devils hand??????
the 1st and second i bought private and were sold to me as red and green echinopora but i am not sure. they look different. green has a ribbed skeleton and hair like things standing up the red has a flat gray colored plate like skeleton and gets squishy like jelly as it wakes up but no hairs.

yes the red looks like that the green looks like it has a million little hairs on it and a ribbed skeleton.

also how do you feed and care for echinoporas

echinophyllia - medium flow....medium light

echinopora is a stony

acclimate the devils hand to as much light as youve got....the more the better, just dont do it too quickly unless you know he came from is the same. You can throw him directly under 10k halides and he will thrive. He can also do well with much less, but more is always better

Thats odd.......thats the exact opposite of any devils hand Ive ever seen.

Usually when the lights go out they shrink to 1/4 size...and when the next day starts blwo up again.

do you see any polyps on him when he gets big??

You should go snap a flash shot of him with the lights out when he is big.
