Coral growth after one year (pics)
I just wanted to share a few pictures of coral growth after one years time. Most frags started out at a few inches if that. They are grown under 400 watt 6500K Iwasaki's. I use a calcium reactor and a homebrew buffer if the alkalinity gets a little low. Here they are:

Oh wow, that is very impressive! Hopefully once I get my reactor going well I will have growth like that. Keep it up!

Bob, the growth of that Seriatopora is pretty good!!
The growth of the Turbinaria ( reniformis?) is, by comparison, darn impressive!!
The growth of the motley Arcopora may worry you:
they will likely outgrow their present locations soon, hahaha!!!
I'm sure there's no shortage of fellow reefers with extra tank space willing to help you with thinning out those Acro colonies, heeee-heeee....

Drew,
The reactor sure helps. I had to add a second stage because it couldn't keep up with the tank I still have trouble getting the calcium up over 400.
Horge,
Can you believe I have fragged them already? In the last pic you can see where I fragged the seriatopora. I took a piece off the top and the shaded area was left exposed. It bleached out a bit as you can see. I have traded away quite a few frags lately.
Frank and Reefguy,
Thanks!
Mojo,

So that's what we have to look forward to. Our tank is now full of 1/2 inch-3 inch frags and a few honest to goodness colonies. Can't wait to watch them grow up!!
Awesome growth!! Great pics. Thanks for sharing.
Brooke
