Coral Beauty Agression

I just got a new midas blenny and my coral beauty is chasing him around. I moved the rocks around to change territory. Would this work?

Make sure you have a cover on the tank! Midas are jumpers and getting chased will probably make it more likely to carpet surf.

Moving the rocks and turning off the lights should help keep the agression down also

thanks, how long will it take for new territory to be established? i dont really like the new rock formation and plan to move it back after the coral beauty settles down.

My coral beauty is a punk and will always be a punk. He will come out of the rocks and peck at something then Run...or swim fast....but anyway he has a lot of ...s.....This being said, I never really seen him "kill" anything...just cause stress

Quarantine the coral beauty for 1 week and then reintroduce to tank and I bet the coral beauty will forget where it fits in the tank's hierarchy.... it will feel like the newcomer and be timid

My Coral Beauty learned where he belonged... my flame angel took care of that... Tail is pretty beat up. Now they are friends..
