The fish I have are a Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish, Yellow Damselfish, very big Royal Gramma Bassle. So I want to add the small tank to the big tank. About 2 years ago I had a Catalina Goby in with the coral banded shrimp and after about 3mth the coral banded shrimp had the Goby for dinner. So do you think it would eat my fish in the 38gal?

Nope had one in our 28 gallon and I don't think a Coral Banded is a threat to anything except a little chunk of algae tab.
Can you post a picture and make sure we are talking about the same thing?
