copper in fish food?!?!?!?!?!!?

Hm. Maybe someone here would know? Replied to a thread in a different forum about ora-glow fish food. Just really read through the ingredients and one of them is COPPER proteinate. I know copper itself is deadly to inverts, and was wondering about this copper stuff. What is it and what does it do? Anybody here know?

Hmm i have to go look at my fish food and see what it says

But when feeding my frozen food i let it thaw in some RO/DI water then drain it and run some more RO/DI over it in the fish net i drain it in. Then add back to the cup. Then fill with tank water to feed.
