cool video of aptasia killers

I thought that pepperment shrimp were the only thing that ate aptasia.

reef scavengers has a cool video of Berghia Nudibranchs eating aptasia.

Very cool video. The question is, what will they eat next? Will they move on to your zoos or shrooms?

Aptasia ARE the only thing they eat so if you get some (You will need more than one and they are expensive) make sure you have a friend with aptasia so you can pass them on. Why get something just so it can clean your tank and die

Aptasia is considered an anemone right???? When all the aptasia are gone wouldn't they go after another anemone?

Sea slugs and nudibranchs are very specialized feeders, and Berghia in particular are obligate to Aiptasia spp to the point tht without them they will starve to death. Almost all nudibranchs are very VERY specialized feeders, matching their camouflage to their food sources and often found only in areas where whatever their obligte food item lives. See Bill Rudman's sea slug site for lots more info on these interesting creatures.
