There is one thing about this video..for some reason..to me...it almost looks staged. All the camera angles available, etc. Just seemed to be so much like a documentary I would expect to see on Discovery Channel. Still impressed either way by the video, never imagined an octo having that puch power over a shark before.

It was a natural event filmed by, Mike degree at the seattle aquriam the cameras were setup to capture it! You can call him if you want 206-386-4300

Wasn't doubting its authenticity based on where it was taking place. Just found it amusing on how.."staged".. it looked. He had all the cameras in all the right places. I am never that lucky! I always miss the good shots in my tank. He should go work for National Geographic!

Did he suspect the octopus and thus why he paid close attention to it?

They had someone stay up all night to try to fing out who was responsible for the shark carcasses. I imagine they had several cameras at the ready for whatever they might find.

That was so wierd! I was thinking the shark would swim away with the Octo attached for a while at least. The shark didn't have a chance.
