Cool New Guy

So we have a new guy, John, at work. Hes a pretty cool guy overally. Well, I Start talking crap about trucks, and you gotta go German cars, etc etc. I said "The only purpose ID have for a truck is toting around my fish tank water". Turns out he used to be into saltwater a while ago also. Well, he has a 125-150g tank he has sitting in his storage, and actually thought about taking a hammer to it. Its the ONLY thing in his storage thats making him keep it going. So he practically gave the thing to me, it only costed me $50. It comes with a tank thats abouts 6' long he said. Along with a stand, a bunch of base rock, chemicals, salt, and equipment like lights and a couple skimmer. So on friday, me and a couple guys will be moving in the new tank! Now I can get my Powder blue tang, and not feel too badly for having him in my 60g. Cant wait for friday.

Oh and clean it well. Ask if he used any pesticides in the building. I have a huge storage building but try not to put any tank stuff out there because I bomb it regularly to keep ants and other bugs out. That would be my only concern really.

you are so lucky, even if the lights and skimmers are old and out dated, you still made out like a bandit! congrats, we will be expecting a build thread soon.

Lol, absolutely not. I spent the $$ on my 60g reef already, and its EMPTY. Right now its more of a FOWLR. If I cant afford to fill the 60g, I Cant fill a 120g lol.

IT'll FOWLR with my puffer, tomato, and hopefully a PBT and another cool fish.
