Cooked Rock

My rock has been cooking for two months and I think it is about ready to put into my established tank.

Will putting the rock into the tank begin a new cycle?

Casey, thanks for the response. I was hoping that would be the answer. So it would be ok to put in the rock and make no adjustment to the tank's lighting schedule?

The cool thing is You took the time to cook it, I think you will have alot better results with your rock by doing so.

are you still getting detritus on the bottom of the cooking container? if yes, than you have a little more time to go. if not, than you are good to go!
