Converting to marine.....

I have a 77 gallon Oceanic Display (original circa 1990: 60" long, 13" front-to-back,24"deep) with a 6" deep (masonry) sand bed that I'm thinking about converting. This will be a softie/'shroom/zoa/paly tank with (possibly) a few cardinals or basslets (maybe a small school of chromis or I might even do a few pair of the larger seahorse species).

Do y'all think pcs would work in this deep of a tank? I've kept palys in the upper layer of this tank with a shoplight (2 x 40 watt NOs) but that was before I knew anything about palys , zoas or 'shrooms.

I've found a nice-looking 60" fixture (260 watt pcs) at Drs F&S (#AFG-16911) with "lunar-light" lcds but I've never tried pcs on this depth .
