Condylactis Anemone Acting Weird

I have a Condylactis Anemone that I bought about a week ago. I put him on the highest point in my tank and then yesterday I found him all drawn in and then just this morning I saw that he moved from the top of the rock to the bottom and is now hanging upside down from the rock. All my levels are good and I target feed him every day or two. Is this normal or could he be getting too much light? I am running a 3 bulb T5 set-up over the tank which is 20 gallons. Help!!

Some anemones like to move a lot. I have 5 anemones in one of my tanks. 4 of them have found their spots and have not moved in months. My rose bta will stay in one place for a couple days or weeks and then move again. Some times my rose goes upside down too, and I can't get food to her. Then she will come back around again and I will feed her. They want to just find the right combo of light and flow. As long as it is eating and looks happy I wouldn't worry

JMO though

Condys are pretty tough if they are feed well. As long as you feed it, it will find it's own spot in the tank. Be forewarned though, they are called Condylactis Gigantea for a reason. They can expand to around 15 or 16 inches. This is a pic on mine in a 55gl tank. For size comparaison there is an Elegance coral in the top right hand corner (it was moved after the pic) in the bottom left hand corner is a newly introduced Condy about the size yours is now.

Oh, I know they get pretty big. I plan on moving it to my 55 gallon tank that I have cycling right now in a few months the 20 is just a temporary home for him.
