Condy in 5g

So Mike found this really pretty condy he liked and is trying it out in the 5g for now. It'll go up to NY when he goes up there for work.

ALright, lemme figure out pics first.

Water stability is going to be challenging in 5 gallons for such a delicate animal. All the best!

I like it better when you see the pic in the post. Can you do that from the gallery?

Yup. Mike has rearranged his 5g several times, he calls it his "xenia garden." We've been playing with the idea of a nem tank and he wanted to try one under PCs. I'm not sure how many watts the 5g is but it seems happy so far. It's going to go up to NY to Mike's office tank.

He's not sure which one to take, he has the choice of the 5g, 12g pod or 37g cube. (Yes, we still have the cube.) I'm voting for the pod, it's as self contained as the 5 but bigger, can do a MH or PC fixture if he gets nuts with it up there.

I'm sure he's going to search out LFS up there. I remember the bird store I LOVED in teh Village....

Look to the left of your post, under your avatar. You will see the word "Images" and next to it a blue number 2. Click on the number 2

Thanks for assisting Kathy with that Scott.

How long will it have to live in the 5 gallon?

Well, he reports in a week. Then he has to set himself up, some home, gather some "extraneous" stuff, take some cycled rock/sand/water up with him, yadda yadda yadda etc. you get the pic. Hopefully not more than 2 to 3 weeks.

It's at least better than the teeny cube they had it in at the LFS. Although that was plumbed into their system. Crappy lights though. Even Mike's 5g lights are better. He modded them somehow. I couldn't tell you what they are now, except decent PC types. I try to stay away from things that will burn/electrocute/kill me.

Sounds like he has a decent plan for it.

Half the fun of reefing is mixing electricity with water to see what kind of results you can get.

I get by with water and blood.

Occasionally There's some stinging or slamming of digits involved too. That kinda mixes it up.
