Rochester Marine Aquarium Club (RMAC) We are located in SE Minnesota

We meet the second Tuesday of every month starting around 6-6:30PM at different members houses to view tanks, discuss club business, trade frags and stories, and usually eat supper of some kind. We are a loosely organized group of salt water fish and reef keepers that like to get together and talk about the hobby. We currently have three elected officers and no joining fee. The three positions are President, Treasure, and Secretary. Basically the president tries to keep us all moving one direction when we meet, and organize when and where we meet. All club decisions are made by vote. The Treasure keeps track of all the club expenses, and the Secretary keeps records of all "official" club business. I am the secretary, and to tell truth I have not taken a note in months

I am happy to invite any an all of you to our next Club meeting which is 09/09/2003 at 6:30 PM. If you are interested please PM or e-mail me. Also if you plan to attend the meeting and are interested in frags let me know, personally I have a small variety that are ready for good homes.

We started our group to fill a niche in the Aquarium community to help all ages, skill levels, and incomes enjoy our fascinating hobby.

We are a laid back group of enthusiasts with a number of educated people that specialize in the hobby.

Rochester, has one Salt water fish store that can meet the needs of the beginning hobbiest, however as your skill level grows we can help you with resources to become an even better aquarist!

Indeed with all the knowledge of either RMAC or SWARM Rochester is indeed a great place for Salt water enthusiasts!!!! We are currently just getting the website up, but plan to have an IRC channel where almost nightly we have an experienced hobbiest in the channel to help you out! Additionally we are installing scripts to help you post your photos and tell us about your aquarium!! We can't wait to hear about your Aquarium!!!
