Colt Coral Help

I have had a colt coral for at least a year now and it hasn't grown at all. In fact it has looked droopy for a couple months. I have read they need to be fed. Is that true? Do I feed them the same way I feed my candy cane. I just squirt mysis shrimp at them once a week or every two weeks. I haven't seen my colt coral open up. I will post a pic of the way it looked a few months ago.

I'm supprised you have not got much growth. these normally grow fast and do not need to be fed. Whats your ALK PH and other test results?

My test showed pH was 8.1 and the Alk. was 214, and Calcium 500. The nitrate was 0, nitrite 0, Amonia 0, and no pospate. I use pharmaceutical test and my SG is 1.025.

I have Zoos that haven't grown either. I have some xenia that are growing and separating and moving all over a couple of rocks. I can keep the pink ones, but the three brown ones I tried all started dying so I had to take them back. I hated to take them back because the brown ones with the green stripes were my favorite ones. Maybe it's my PC lighting. In March we are going to upgrade to T-5s.

I am certainly no expert but I have found that they don't like critters climbing on them and mine is really temp sensitive. If it's too cool it will just hang out and not open. Just a penny's worth.

my tank temp is set to 80 degrees. I lost my shrimp about 3 weeks ago so nothing is messing with it.
