Colt Coral

I have been kicking around getting a Colt Coral could anybody give me some advised on the hardyness of this coral and special needs.

the tank has been set up since april and have had really good luck with my live stock so far lots of zoo's, a very large pumping xenia, open brain that is large, closed brain - that was a ten dollar (let me see if I can revive this one attempt that is doing great). and other small stuff.

tank specs at PH 7.89 - 8.10 Alk 15 Cal 300 Nitrate less than 0.05

lighting and everything listed below.

if you can keep xenia then a colt coral will be a piece of cake for you. They are quick growers.

I find that my colt coral has been around for ever. I find mineto be hardy, likes low-moderate light, likes a moderate flow. I have fragmented mine several times and I now see again that he is ready to split

Someone gave me a 1 and a half Colt coral for free in May. It is now 5 inches tall. They really grow fast.

If I can keep one alive in the nine gallon AND the thirty gallon... anyone can. I say 'go for it'!

I have 3 in my 150 gallon and love them. They are very hardy my nitrates have been at 40ppm forever and they really dont seem to care. I have 2 175 watt mh 15000k and have them up at the top and they seem very happy there

Mine is HUGE! It's about 10" tall now. It was my first coral. They are very hardy. I've been thinking of fragging mine, but I'm still a little scared...
