I'm looking for some colorful live rock uncured and no luck. My LFS's have the worste rock I've ever seen lol. Does anyone have some reputable sites they've ordered LR from? I'm looking for something really lively lol!

Unless you buy from a non commercial source, usually the LR wont have any coraline(the purple stuff) on it. It take time in a established system to get it to that point.

Most of our rock is covered in pink coraline now, so you can't even see a lot of the original color anyway!

finding colorful rock that is uncured is kinda an oxymoron. lol. after it cures and becomes very stable, it will color up very well, you can start with any rock, dont worry about colors, worry about shapes and the life in it. thats what you really want out of good live rock. the color will come wiith time.

I agree on the rock will get color back when the take matures and get stable, Waterchanges will also help to keep you tank healthy,
