Question

Color Test, Nitrate color match....help please...

Supposedly its genetically impossible for me to be colorblind.... the only colorblind person in my family is my uncle (my mom's brother) nobody on my dad's side is, and i'm female...

but i'll be darned if i can read these freaking colormatch test kits.

Wish they made digital ones cause i'm just lost sometimes....

Please tell me what my nitrate reading is?

I tested it a few days ago because i am having frilly/hairy mushroom probs, and lost every one of my anthelia polyps....

i have NO ammonia, NO nitrItes, ph is 8.1- 8.2 (another color test i can just make out) and i guessed the matching color between the 10 and the 20 so i say 15..... (historically- before the RUMP it hovered around 40 if i was lucky on those colors)....

i took a pic of the vial held up to the color card.... hope it comes out clear enough....

my water tests I do every day....

How are my fish looking?

How are the corals looking?

If something isnt looking right I run a battery of tests...but if everythign is fine I only test for pH, dKh, and Calcium

normally i test about once a week... but i have gone a long time between tests before....

i always got the same readings

nitrates are the only ones that have been changing recently.... as long as it continues to go downward i'll be happy!
