Color Change

I recently changed the substrate in my tank. I removed the bright white sand and replaced it with a tidal pool silver and gray color substrate.

The strange thing is when the lights came on, the water appeared to be a greenish color. I took some water out and it is not green

I am running T5's, 8x54W bulbs. Four blue and four daylight bulbs. Any recommendation on how I can change the bulb configuration to get rid of the greenish color?

Recently as in HOW recently???

If its only been a couple of days i would wait a few more days and see what it looks like. Even if the water doesnt look green when you take it out, it doesnt take much haze to look different under the light, as well as when you are looking at your tank you are looking through a lot more water......
