Every state has its own requirements and licensing/permits.

My tanks are only experimental tanks to see what...I feel...can be kept successfully long term. The real display will come later. I don't really have have enough of anything to frag at this time.....in fact, strictly speaking....it would be a violation of my collection permit which is for "personal use only...no commercial use"......unless, if needed, I could prove that new growth only was sold. Until someone comes along with a commercial licensed operation... or is willing to possibly bend very "grey" collecting laws.....keeping a coldwater tank will have to be only practical for those certified divers living near the two coasts.

I mostly collect from 30 ft to 120ft. Some good stuff can found shallower.....like stars and some large anemones....but, the best stuff is found in VERY high current areas that are only safe to dive with a chase boat and during slack.
