COFFEE HOUR!!
Good Morning Board Members!!! It is 5:18 a.m. MST here in Missoula, Montana. After a 4 day 10hr shifts at the lumber mill, I sure look forward to three days off so I can relax and of coarse be with my reef aquarium.
May run over to the LFS which does not open for another 4 1/2hrs. I have the coffee brewing so stop by and say hi here on the board and I'll send you a cup e-mail .
Good morning Brooke, Doug 1, Dark horge, Bill-e and all the members who need to rise and shine and off to work. Do you check out your reef before you head out?
I guess I am just lonely sitting here at the computer and reading the message board. WHAT AN ADDICTION THIS IS!!!! But I love it. The cat is by my side and PatTheAttack(my wife) is still in bed and I hope all of you have a real nice day and may your reef tanks flourish!! Johnny

And a good morning to you, Johnny!
Morning is a great time to check out the reef; the world through the newspaper and the big window in front of my 'puter. Its also feeding time for several of the non-reef critters and pets.
Getting up early has many rewards so you have time to do some of these things without having to rush around just to get to the car and on the way to work.
Just don't wake Pat up!!

Good morning Johnny and everyone!
I'm just ready to head out the door. I check the board every morning....I suppose I should read the paper now and then, lol. Have a great Friday everyone!

Well good morning to all. Geez you get up early. I am fairly new here but just wanted to spread a good Friday vibe to everyone reading this morning. Although I have not had four 10 hour shifts (man) I am nonetheless looking forward to the weekend. Cheers!!

Good morning, both Brooke and I have been up for a few hours, see normally sleeps in ( slacker) she is currently helping delivering a baby, she is volunteering and helping a young 18 year old, who does not have much support, deliver a baby. so she was at the hospital with her from 11am Thursday through 11am today.

Good morning all. I wish I had time to check the board when I got up! Our 5 month old pretty much sets the schedule at our house. (4:30AM comes all too soon)
A while ago I posted that Jeremy (my son) likes to sit in his bassinette and watch the fish in the tank. Well, now he likes to watch the tank so much that if you are holding him, and move away from the tank, he will do everything in his power to get a line of sight back on the tank! He ignores the Creole Wrasse and X-mas Wrasse and clown in favor of watching the Sarco Toadstool. He will stare at it for 15-20 minutes! Kids and tanks are cool!
Anyway, had to share that. I am excited because the Wisconsin Reef Society meeting is at my house tomorrow, so I get to show off my tank to people who care.
Happy Friday and have a good weekend all!

First thing I do after I've gotten ready for work is go downstairs and turn on my computer. There I check the parameters for the night recorded by my aquacontroller, my personal email, and sometimes even get a jump on my work email. Then it's over to the living room to check on the tanks, usually put a piece of nori in for the tang, and only when I'm late do I find something that must be taken care of right away.
If I spend too much time at the tank, I wont go to work!

I prefer to wake and bake myself.
Today, it's a little Kali Mist to get me on my way.
Now, if I could only find my keys...

You slowpokes...
Ugh.
Don't talk to me about the getting-up-early blues.
I'm always so much earlier than you sleepyheads.
And I get free cral, LR, fish and lighting too! Neeener, neener!! (or as we say it: nyaaah, nyaaaaahhhhh!!)
Oh, and I check on my 'tanks' on getting home at night. Dunno why I've no time for it every morning...
