co2 tank refill ?


just wondering if everyone lets there tank run right out out or is there a level that you run it to before getting it filled again . i notced this morning that my bubble counter was not working so i figured maybe it was about time to refill . tank is not completly empty yet though .

russ, I my experience it really doesn't matter that much.

When you take the bottle in for refill, they exchange bottles. Most places don't want to take the time to refill "your" bottle. They grab one that is already full and take yours.

My local beer distributor fills them for me and I pay by the pound. 2.5lb cyclinder costs me about four bucks last time I took it there. Depending upon your regulator, you may need to get filled before all the CO2 runs out, just because the regulator requires a certain amount of pressure.
