CO2 in SoCal
I just lost my CO2 supplier, and I can't find another near me that will refill (not trade-in) my canister. Any ideas? I'm in Laguna Beach. Thanks!

Try a fire extinguisher business. It's the only place in town I can get mine filled same day/same tank.

IME a lot of folks don't treat their CO2 canisters very nice, and the so-called mandatory inspection is pretty hit or miss (this from a guy who refills CO2 canisters for a living--at least part of it). Also, a lot of people using them in saltwater applications use cheap check valves, and the canisters are SW damaged. Plus, when you own nice shiny aluminum CO2 canisters, it's kinds hard to trade them in for a rusty, dented tank...IMO.

Cheers, Chris...that's my next attempt. Too bad I can't walk to one. :-(

Welding supply shops are good, but most near me are closed on Saturdays.
