CO2 build up

I live in Florida where my AC is on most of the year, and my windows are not open much. My house is small, and very tight ,so I get a build up of CO2. I didn't know I had this problem I just knew I was having a hard time keeping the ph up in my tank. Now I've been turning my AC off when I get up in the morning, and opening my windows. When it starts to get to hot in the house I close the windows ,and turn the AC on again. Soon it will to worm to open the windows.

I would like to know does anyone else have this problem?
Do you have a better way to correct this problem? I am open to suggestions.
Tanks in advance.

I have pumped air to the protein skimmer form out side ( Ithought I had the same problem but didn't)

Are you close enough to a window to put an air pump outside and pump fresh air to your skimmer??

Mafiaman, I'm in a stilt house I can drill a hole in my floor. Does pumping air to your skimmer affect its performance?

In theory it should run better, Mine did.
If your skimmer works on a pin wheel ( euro reef type)You may have to put a valve on the air line to prevent the pump from cavitating. If you have a vacuum style like I do ( natilus EX) then the more air the better. A becket type may also require a valve.

Tanks Mafiaman,I will give it a try. I have a Euro Reef skimmer ,so I'll get a valve to adjust the flow. Another thing,I also know that to much CO2 build up in the home can cause health problems like depleting your bones of calcium.
