Clowns Spawn *Video*

Hello All,

Check out this video I made of my clownfish's 1st ever spawn. I've waited 5 years for it. I got some great footage and I hope it is informative to alot of people who are curious about the spawning processes through larval release:

Very cool! I'm still waiting on my True Percs to do the same. I have two different pairs.

Thanks, I've been contemplating trying to actually get the setup to raise them. I bought the Joyce Wilkerson book on Clownfish for the second time...

Neat video, but I think Pam and Tammy are going to be tough to outdo.

The larvae can't survive because they need to be in an environment that is highly saturated in food. It would be impossible to replicate in our showcase tanks, so we need to create a separate system. Hopefully I will be able to test things out beyond what I showed in the video. I just got the Joyce Wilkerson book on Clownfishes so I am going to start my research. I'll try to document it as best as possible if I chance trying to raise the fish. From what I understand it is a very difficult and time consuming thing to do.
