excellant find Kelli!!!!!!

that was a really good discussion we all had on that topic.

Markus, you dont have to have anomone in the tank for clowns to host.
my skunk clowns have hosted with my green mushrooms. If they dont wan tto host right away dont force it either, when the time is right the time is right.

I did go off the chart though and two percs hopped into a rose BTA pretty quickly. Your mileage will vary though and clowns hosting a powerhead are not uncommon or anything else for that matter.

Saltwaterfish.com lists if the anenome will go with clowns or not. Also, I know that I've seem some clowns love xenias when they're nice and open, some flower pots, and they even like my torch I have in my tank. I have some brown leather finger deal they don't like, but I've seen them host that in another tank before (which is why I bought it). So I figure why spend money on an anenome I will probably end up killing with my lack of metal halides.....

I dont think clowns care what they host with. They find something comfortable and make it home. Plenty of people including me buy anemone to give their clown a home but the clown has other plans.

Would a clown hosting in a coral be a bad thing? Will it harm the coral?
