Clowns

Can you put more than one kind of clown in the same tank? I have 2 perc. clowns and they dont want to go or dont know to go into my anemone. Maybe its because they are tank bred im not sure. Would the new clown, like a maroon clown, show the percs that they can go in there?

I believe that would work because I have done that. The only problem is that the maroon will protect whatever it hosts with and won't allow the other clowns to host.

They say that they don't mix. I've seen it done but, wouldn't recommend it. Give the ones you have some time to adapt to a different environment. Tank raised clowns don't, usually, know what an anemone is.

The clowns and the anemone have been in the same tank for about 7 months now and still havent touched it. Only about a month ago I moved them from a smaller tank to this bigger one. Plus I can always remove this 'new' clown from the tank if I needed to.

It should be ok! but if the tank is new.the anemone mite not live if the water quality isn't good and steady.
