Clownfish stressing? Any ideas what to do....

on September 4th last friday I introduced a black clown about 2 inches and a false perc about 1 inch. They were doing great! No issues I assumed the larger black clown would assume the role of female and the smaller clown would have no choice. Both were selected from tanks in which they were schooled with other clowns and there have been no dominance behavioural issues at all. Problem is the larger black clown the last few days seems to be stressing for no apparent reason. Simply hoovers in the same spot above the gravel moving fins back and forth and is doing the air gulping thing. She can swim if she wants to.
(gotta love the scientific names and descriptions!)
Anyways I know that all parameters on the tank are fine... no problems there. Checked rechecked and triple checked. Was eating cyclops, now wont eat at all. The little false perc is fine. Is there anything I should do other than move to qt tank and let her pass? They were drip aclimated about 3 hours before adding to tank and like I said she was eating...... Maybe a dip of some sort in some kinda meds or something...Reaching for something I know... any ideas?

hmmm I posted this at around 10. He is up swimming and doing fine. In doing some research I found an article at wetwebmedia that said those actions could be a result of the fish changing its gender. Anyways who knows he is doing better!

If you watch them long enough they do some really strange things. I had one that actually would brush up against the intake at night to sleep. Many mornings I would come out thinking it was dead but no, I believe it was just so lazy it would let the pump suck it up in the inlet so it would not have to swim all night.

The other one would wiggle until it got into the overflow and would spend a couple days in it and when it was feeding time it would wiggle back over to the tank side.

They are just strange I do believe. Hopefully that is all it is. I know the female of my group would always act weird before they would spawn. The acted like they were going to spawn but they never did lol.
