clownfish and anemone ??

Can more than 1 clownfish host to just 1 anemone? And does it matter what kind of anemone it is, I mean is there any that they will not host to??

Most Atlantic Anemones (Cony's & haitians) will not Usually host clowns. (They don't in the wild because all Clowns are in the Pacific and never seen them).

A mated pair of clowns or a group of Juvis can share an anemone but you can't just mix any clowns in the same tank.

I found this page about anemones in captivity, at the bottom is a chart. I'm kind of also interested to see what other people have had luck with.

I think that a wild caught fish generally works better. And I had a clarkii wild caught that went right into a BTA. I am pretty sure they have to be a pair to share an anemone (or at least GOOD friends!)

I hope you have enough lighting to support an anemone.

A Bubble Tipped anemone will host almost all clowns and are the easiest to keep. Your Ocellaris will most likely go to it with ease.

I have had success with bubble tips and ritteri anemones. I am very impressed with the ritteri but it does get quite large. I think I am going to have to upgrade just because of that.

Hey! There is always a reason to upgrade! This one sounds good to me.
