Clown Sweetlips What is the scoop?

I bought it at LFS wife loved it, after getting home I read a little about them and learn that they can eat shell fish? and grow fairlly large.

I have a reef, do I need to get rid of him? So far I have not had any fights or problems with him, I am however concerned as I see him always picking on the rocks and do not want him to starve my Mandarin.

What u guys and gals think?

I had the brown white and yellow outlined sweetlips and it was my favorite fish until it died. He never picked on the corals at all. I am looking to get another one, I would say just watch him and feed him well and hopefully he will never get hungry and try the corals.

Yeah I saw one of those in a store really really young and I thought it was an AWESOME fish. I loved the way it swims i loved everything about it. I went online to research and found out it turns into a freakin 25" long ugly beast.

ugh.
