Clown Surfing...

Any of you fellow clown owners ever see your fish surfing the powerhead and feed streams?? Mine has been doing this for hours, just swimming in large circles getting pushed by the current. It's driving the chromis nuts!! Maybe thats why he is doing it?? Good for him!!

PS... he and the purple tang are still at it I think.. he has a few nips out of his fins the poor guy. I haven't seen the tang do it though.

DaveJ: I have a pair of maroon clownfish and the female stations the male in a certain spot on the reef and then she is off to ride the currents in the tank.
She loves to ride the current the full length of the tank and then circle around my "tree" and then go check on the male and then she is back at it again. She does this for a few times and then settles down to blowing sand around!!!!
She also likes to push the snowflake eel around and she is either brave or quite foolish as she may get a nip on the tail one of these days. Johnny

My false like to do this on my return pump from my sump. Occasionally the smaller of the two will wait until another fish (usually the Purple Tang) is in the way, and WHHHAAACKKK right into the side of him. The other clown follows with a little dance, and I find it quite amusing. Just afraid the Tang doesn't, and one day he will pay for it!!!
