clown stressing tube-worms?

i picked up a little (1.5") tank-raised acellaris clown on sunday. little guy's doing just great, but most of tube-worm hitchhikers i have in the tank have not been extending their crowns since the first night he was in the tank. is it possilbe that he's eating them or nipping at them, or is it more likely just either coincidence or the little duster-like critters getting used to a hyper fish zipping around in the tank where there previously were no fish at all?

It could be that the clown is nipping at them, not unheard of, or just it's curiousity causing the worms to retract for safety
