On the direction it said i have to remove the carbon while using this medication and after i am done with the medicine do a 20% water change. Now my question is the Carbon that i remove can i go ahead and put the same one in or do i need to replace the carbon it was brand new only 10 Hrs in the. It was Kent Marine reef carbon. (ive been told it just like regular carbon only stronger correct me if i am wrong please)

most if not all meds are not reef safe....you may be best to take the fish out and place them in a QT tank, i fyou have other fish they too shoudl be in the QT tank, and leave the main display fish free for a few weeks until the ich is dead.
Garlic is something you can add to there diet, it is said to have helped , but there is not hard proof of this that i have seen so far,
there are few methods of treating this,
1. meds in the main tank ( which will affect something else in the tank too)
2. QT tank
3. hyposaltinity
