Clown fish went for a ride to my sump

So last night I saw my clown fish and 1 of my red fire belly gobbies were in the overflow. I was so tired I just left them there. I woke up and went right to the tank to get them out but they were not there. So after 5 min. of looking in the overflow and tank it dawned on me that they were in the sump. I opened the stand and there they were staring at me. I hope they didnt find it fun and keep doing it.
