I actualy noticed this on mine today ever so slightly on their back, and I just put in 14 snails a week ago or so.
I just figured it was adult coloration, keep me posted...

It has happened once to both my clowns. Then it went away. No idea what it is, but they seemed in perfect health while they had the spots. See attached pic.

I wouldn't worry about it unless they start to exhibit strange behavior.

have they been bonding with any new corals or anemoes?
Is this even a viable cause for the dots?
What is black-ick?
I was just double checking some advice I heard.
