(w/pics) Clown Fish Mate...
Well I've mentioned it before on TRT that my tank was trashe by a Sally Lightfoot crab  , before the crab I had 3 false percs, now only one, he swims around with my chromis and he eats and seems fine but does he need a mate, the only abnormal behavior, is never sleeping he swms all night, but I will be getting a bubble tip anenome in the next month or two maybe he will sleep in that, so I guess my final q is does he need another mate or can he/she live on his own???

this sucks
Until I get my difital cammera here is really bad pollaroid of a portion of my tank with a really bad glare on it, god this is a horrible pic

Doesnt the fireplace warm the tank up a little?

i've lived here for eight years, never turned on the fireplace, , come on its So Cal, but even if I do, there is a lot of mortar and would between it and the tank and I have a huge chiller in a teak (braziallian wood) compartment outside, i'll show everyone my entire setup when my difital camera comes, but I'm not posting any more pollaroids, I tink I've had that camera since I was 8 |

The clown will be fine without a mate. Our very first pair of percs... a looong time ago... well, she chased him out of the tank, and lived quite happily without him for many years.
We currently have a single gold- stripe maroon in the show reef. And she's fine without a mate. (Besides, it's too risky to try to pair her now - as big as she's getting.)
