Clown fish

How do you get an oscelaris clown fish to go into a bubble anemone? the anemone is on a rock too big to put into a small tank with just the clown.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, you cannot make any clown go into an anemone....sometimes they will sometimes they won't....I have heard it can take a little while. Is the clown hosting in anything now....?

First of all, A. ocellaris does not naturally bond with E. quadricolor, so do not be surprised if it snubs your anemone ....for now.

Clownfishes can adapt to unfamiliar anemone species sometimes, in captivity, and this is what you have to hope for. Just keep the clownfish healthy and the anemone well-lighted and well-fed ---indeed, the clownfish may gravitate to the anemone when it sees it is a focus for food.

I would not try to force the issue
