Question

Cliona delitrix

Have you heard of this type of parasitic sponge, cliona delitrix. Is it really a bad thing? If it is how can I get rid of it. The small rock that my ricordea came on is almost entirely covered and I have a bit growing on the bony part of a my frogspawn.

darn it! it looks alot like the picture but the holes/bores are not as numerous and the ones that are there are so tiny.

hmmm... it would seem that it would be easier to find a way to take the ricordea off the rock than to find a way to get rid of the sponge. Can anyone please tell me how this can be done?

There is also something similar to this but yellow on the bony structure of my frogspawn. In fact it's growing right up to the edge of the fleshy part. Anyone has any ideas on how to kill sponges
