Cleaner wrasse reef safe?

Hi Everyone! I have been having problems with a cpl of my fish having ick since I moved last month. I went out last Sat and bought 3 cleaner shrimp and I'm happy to say 90% of my ick is gone. My best friend surprised me with a yellow tail cleaner wrasse last night. I really didn't want it because I know the likelihood of it surviving is low but he had already bought it so I put it in my tank. Today I noticed it nipping at my frogspawn. I called the pet shop where he bought it and they told me that cleaner wrasse are reef safe and that its prob picking parasites out of the corals. Could that be right? I didn't realize corals got parasites? The frogspawn is staying open and not closing. What should I do? Catching anything in my tank is next to impossible but since its thin I might be able to catch it with a bottle trap but the I have nowhere except my 30 gallon sump to put it in. I know my friend thought he was doing me a favor but I'm worried he might
have added to my troubles.
Thanks
Patrick

thanks George yeah I know thats why I bought shrimp. I would not have bought him. I did have one for 4 yrs but it was a blue one this one is brown and white striped with a yellow tail. Why do you think he's picking at the frogs spawn?
