Cleaner shrimps.

Cleaner shrimps.

Hiys guys, i have a 100 gal sps frag tank, it has a small snad covering but not under the rocks, and a turn over of 30x. I am just wondering about clener shrimps and blood shrimps. For a cleaner crew already i have around 40 turbo snails and 24 red-legs, and will be getting 12 each of nassarius and cerith snails. Bit i waswondering if the tank would benefit from the addition of a cleaner or blood shrimps?

Also is one type better then the other as i prefer the look of blood shrimps?

And are they best kept singerly or in pairs etc?

Thanx
Andrew

I would get several cleaners, they carry eggs regularly and will provide food for all of your corals.

get the cleaners, they are really more interesting to watch than the bloods. the bloods are a pretty red color, but i find that they hide more, and the cleaners have an interesting yellow body with red strip and white stripe on the inside of the red, their antennae are longer and like madmike said, the carry lots a eggs. cleaners get my vote!

I have two skunk cleaners and a fire/blood shrimp...the blood shrimp seems to the stronger of the three...though they all hang out in the same cave...the two skunk cleaners have been carring eggs on and off for ever, I've yet to see the blood shimp do this...they are great....great clean-up guys toom they work hard and are not shy when it's feeding time..
