clean up crews?

Ok don't flame me for this stupid question but are crabs and snails necessary in a small reef setup NO FISH? Its a 20G with 130W of PC lighting and a Coralife Super skimmer and about 20 lbs LR

I would say if you are going fishless you don't "need" them but for aesthetics they are cool to have

Flame you...my friend you are on the wrong site if you even think that is gonna happen here. Puns are even acceptable.

Even in my tank holding the extra rock until we move there is some stuff growing. I put a few snails and critters in there and it helps.

a few will add movement, and keep things stirred up a bit, not at all bad to have, even if it is only a couple to keep pockets of gunk from settling.

Not necessary, but why not? Hermits themselves have quite a personality.

my clean up crew is more entertaining to me then my fish.

One of my hermits recently harvested a snail shell for its own, and it's just odd, as all my snails have similar looking shell, and to see one of the shlls just trodding along.
